Lucky Charms

This is the best I could do to get a picture of my lucky charms on St. Patrick's Day.  I spend days getting their outfits together, treats for school, etc. and then i don't even get a picture of them together.  I guess that is reality.  Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!!  Brynn had a great day and tons of fun at her school party.  We spent the evening together going for a walk, and to the farmers market so the kids could go in the bounce houses.  Oh how things have changed.  No green beer for us this year.

Fun day at school!

Beautiful Weather

Spring is in the air and my kids are happy.  Burke wants to be outside all the time and will bang on the door just waiting to go outside.  We spend most evenings at the park and the weekends at the beach and pool.  I love this time of year.  The sun is shining and it is not too hot.  The best part of all, the kids sleep well because they burn off so much energy during the day.

First Haircut

Burke has these crazy curls that can get a little unruly.  And lets not forget about his uneven bangs that can make him look like he belongs to the Munster Family.  My at home trims were not quite cutting it anymore so we headed to Kids Cuts.  Burke did great.  He sat there nicely driving the car. It was not until the end that he began to get a little squirmy.  Everyone was happy when it was over. Burke was happy he go to play with the trains.  Mom was happy because there was no tears and his hair looked much much better.

Visit from Grandpa Casey

Grandpa Casey spent a week with us.  We had so much fun, that the week just flew by.  I always feel bad when Grandpa Casey comes because Brynn usually has his week filled with activities before he even gets here.  This year her list of “things to do” was not quite as long, but long enough.

We spent most evenings inside playing and laughing.  Grandpa Casey played many games of hide and go seek with Brynn and football with Burke.  Burke still looks around for Grandpa to play football with him.  The first night Grandpa got into town we went bowling.  Brynn gave Grandpa a run for his money, while Cameron and I took turns running after Burke.  Second on Brynn’s list was of course golfing.  Little does she know that Grandpa takes her miniature golfing and not to the regular course.  One day she will be ready for the regular course.  Third and fourth on Brynn’s list was fishing and a Duffy boat ride.  Luckily for us, we could do both in one afternoon.  Except we weren't quite fully prepared with enough food for the kids so we had to end the afternoon a little early.

Overall it was a great visit and we can’t wait for Grandma Darcy to come out with Grandpa next time.
