Two Months Old

I can not believe how time has flown by.  It feels like we just brought her home from the hospital last week.  I knew that aspects of our lives were going to change once we had Brynn but I did not realize everything was going to change.  Before she was born I made this long list of items I was going to complete while on maternity leave.  I have not completed one of those items and now have no intention of even glancing at the list, as I would rather spend my time playing with her, snuggling with her, talking to her, listening to her babble back, watching her sleep, and letting her explore the world.  Housework and the gym no longer matter.  Dinners that take more than 30 minutes to cook are a thing of the past and I can not remember the last time I even thought about work.  Yes our lives have completely changed, but we would not give up our new life for anything.  It is great to once again look at life through the eyes of a child and have your life full of love.

Below are some pictures of Brynn’s favorite things.

Denver

Brynn took her first airplane ride this past weekend.  She was a perfect angel on the flight.  As you can see in the photo below she was very excited to go and visit Aunt Heidi and Uncle Eric.

Denver was a blast.  It was great for Brynn to finally meet her Aunt Heidi and Uncle Eric, who spoiled her rotten.  She misses them already.

While in Denver we explored the downtown area.  Brynn and Daddy even checked out the capital building while Mom got a massage.

Our Little Peanut

Brynn had her six week check-up and shots this week.  She is growing quickly and not such a little peanut anymore.  The doctor was very happy with her weight gain and surprised by her strength and giggles.  She now weighs 10 lbs 10 oz and continues to be very long at 22 ½ inches, which is in the 75th percentile.  I wonder who she gets that from?  Brynn was showing off all of her tricks while in the doctor’s office.  She was lifting her head, rocking back and forth, smiling, and giggling.

Brynn has now mastered the “fake cry”.  She has even learned how to add the big bottom lip.

Check out Brynn’s new kicks.  Thanks Matt she loves them.  It might take her a few years to grow into them.

One Month Old

We celebrated Brynn’s one month birthday yesterday.  I even sang happy birthday to her at .  It is hard to believe that she has been with us for over four weeks already.  Everyday flies by too quickly, especially since it seems like she is changing everyday.  Our lives have completely changed...but for the better.  We look forward to everyday and watching Brynn reach new milestones.

Brynn continues to grow like a weed and we can barely keep up with feedings.  Her favorite things are her: daddy, play mat, walks in the stroller, and music.  She continues to be very smiley and talkative when awake.  However, keeping her awake continues to be difficult.

We have enjoyed introducing Brynn to everyone over the past few weeks.  She has been spoiled rotten by all of her grandparents and met many of my girlfriends in San Diego.  Brynn even got to meet her new friend Josie.  Cameron and I have loved the extra help and continue to welcome visitors.

Sleeping Beauty

Grandma Nancy was here this week visiting Baby Brynn.  Brynn and Grandma Nancy did a lot of bonding together on the couch taking naps.  It was great to have some extra hands for a few days to get a few things done.

Friday, September 17, 2010 was a big day for us.  Cameron and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary and Brynn turned 3 weeks old.  Cameron and I had good intentions of taking Brynn with us out to eat somewhere but as the evening got later and later we decided to lounge around the house and get take-out.  How things have changed over the past few weeks.

Sonia and Nikki are coming to visit on Thursday and then Friday we are off to Coronado Island for Suzie and Dave’s wedding festivities and to meet up with other friends.  Brynn will be joining us – I hope everything goes well as this will be her first overnight trip.

Doctor’s Appointment

Brynn went in for a check-up this week. She is doing great. The doctor was really happy with how responsive she is, with her weight gain, and her strength. Baby Brynn now weighs a whopping 7 lbs 4 oz, which is 1 lbs heavier than when she left the hospital. I guess those late night feedings are paying off.

She is starting to look like her daddy more and more everyday. Her cheeks are getting chubbier and her hair is starting to become a little wavy. However, her eyes are changing color from blue to brown like mine.

We will see who she ends up looking like.

Baby Belitz Has Arrived

Brynn Ann Belitz arrived punctually on her due date, Friday, August 27th at 9:19am.  She weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and was 20 inches long.  She is an absolute doll and we could not be happier.  Everything went as smoothly as the pregnancy.  We are at home now enjoying every moment with her and trying to get into a routine.

Grandma and Grandpa Woodward were here to meet her after she was born along with Auntie Ashley.  We have loved all of the vistors and can not wait for Grandma Nancy and Grandma and Grandpa Belitz to meet Baby Brynn in the next couple of weeks.

Cameron has turned into a big softy and is wonderful with Brynn.  He can no longer say no to his girls.

We will try and keep updating this website with picures and events.
