Thank You Grandma

Thank you Grandma Sharon for coming to stay with me.  I miss you already!  Mom and Dad are so boring compared to you.  We cook, clean, play games, and go to the park.  The best is when you take me to the beach to make sand castles and dig big holes in the sand.

Running Buddies

Poor Auntie Ashley has found a new running buddy.  It all started when Brynn and I went shopping for new shoes.  Brynn tried on a few pair but kept going back to this one pair she especially liked.  She tried them on one last time and took off running and came back.  Those were the ones she wanted and she only wanted them for one reason….. they were faster than Ashley’s shoes.  Ever since then whenever Brynn sees Ashley going for a run she has to tag along.

Easter Fun

Easter is becoming one of my favorite holidays.  The weather is usually nice.  I typically just make reservations somewhere to eat, so I don't have to cook.  Brynn is happy to be running around doing multiple egg hunts and playing with little toys found in her basket.  It is a win win for everyone. 

This year we had a lovely Easter weekend with decorating eggs, a little shopping, a delicious brunch and an afternoon of family activites.  Brynn spent hours looking for eggs, opening the eggs, and snacking on the treats found inside.  I am actually surprised she was even able to sleep last night given the pieces of chocolate she ate.  But given all of the candy choices she still prefers raisins.  She definately does not get that from me!
