While some of our visitors were here meeting Burke, we took
a day to enjoy Disneyland. It was a last
minute decision, but a wonderful one. It
was a perfect day. The sun was shining
but not too hot. The girls were in great
spirits and lasted till late in the day with no naps. We went on a bunch of rides and had story time
with Rapunzel.
Burke stayed home with Grandma Sharon, so Brynn was thrilled
to have a special day with just the two of us and no distractions. She got to go on all of the rides she wanted
to, play in Toontown, and just walk along looking at all of the beautiful
flowers.
The girls had a great time and loved being together. It was definitely a magical place for
them. They got to see some of their
favorite characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Winnie the Pooh
and more. It was also wonderful to have
Great Grandma Donna with us who loved watching the magic in the kids’ eyes. The old buildings and miniature nursery rhyme
scenes were her absolute favorite.
